Hight Continues JFR Dominance in NHRA Funny Car
Robert Hight continues to dominate the NHRA Funny Car class. The 2009 class champion appeared in his fifth-straight final (and 13th-straight final for John Force Racing), earning the victory over Jack Beckman.
In the TORC Series, Luke Johnson battled Saturday night against the best of the best in the PRO Light class, at one point being wrecked and forced to restart at the rear of the field. The second-generation racer rebounded and brought his PEAK PRO Light home with a solid sixth-place finish.
Finally, this weekend in NASCAR is the biggest track on the tour: Talladega. Clint Bowyer, a multi-time winner at 'Dega is racing a PEAK paint scheme on his No. 15 Michael Waltrip Racing machine. Michael Waltrip, himself, will even be there, gunning for a win in the BlueDEF-wrapped No. 66 Toyota.
