O'Neal Continues to be The Real Deal

"The Real Deal" Don O'Neal continued his winning ways this weekend, ending Friday night's Grassy Smith Memorial at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, S.C., in Victory Lane. The win is O'Neal's fourth of the season and widens his series points lead over Jimmy Owens.
O'Neal's boss, Clint Bowyer, was at Sonoma Raceway this weekend, a track where he notched a victory in 2012. The weekend started strong with the Kansas native finishing Friday's practice in P1. Unfortunately, an accident during the race put him back in the field, but Bowyer rallied to finish 10th.

On the straightline side, John Force Racing's Robert Hight, the 2009 NHRA Funny Car champion, racked up his 42nd Top Qualifier honor Saturday in Epping, N.H. Hight went out early, but his JFR teammates John Force and Courtney Force both made it to Sunday's semifinals.

PEAK's sportsman team did well this weekend with Dan Fletcher finished runner up in Super Stock at the Epping national event and Jay Payne won the Top Alcohol Funny Car class at the NHRA divisional race in Montana after rain postponed the finals to Monday morning.

NHRA heads to PEAK's hometown this weekend, racing at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Ill., while NASCAR heads to Kentucky Speedway. Finally, Luke Johnson is racing his PEAK PRO Light Saturday and Sunday in Crandon, Wis., for the TORC Series' Big House Brawl.
